Let me introduce myself: I am Sue Sinagulia and I lead the Dance Class, I am an experienced dancer and have been dancing many years around the country, I am also a registered nurse, and have a first line teacher’s certificate and I am also a fitness instructor. I have a Post graduate diploma in public health and a Masters degree in health studies. Belly dance offers a really good all over workout, is great fun and our classes are truly relaxed. The dancing strategy which I follow targets the core muscles in the body whilst learning Middle Eastern dance.
Belly dance can also can provide support, positive image and help promote self esteem by feeling part of a group. Or just simply those who want to dance for exercise. Whatever your reason you will gain something personal to you.
We are a mixed class of ordinary and sociable women. Our class consists of beginners to intermediate dancers. We meet weekly in our well equipped dance studio on a Monday night 7pm to 8pm at St Albans Community Centre. We also have great fun visiting and performing at summer fêtes and fairs. So come and join us every Monday 7pm till 8pm. Cost is just £3.50.
We would like to acknowledge the tremendous work done by those at St Albans Community Centre, it's forward thinking, supportive and friendly staff. with whom we have a close affiliation. The building is warm, light and nothing is too much trouble.
Working together we can and do make a difference
